Like everyone of you, this year has been filled with some challenging projects! We’ve migrated redirected folders to OneDrive, converted old Exchange groups to Teams that still sync from AD, set Teams to install and silently login, configured a new helpdesk and asset program, deployed a whole lot of new equipment, and countless other smaller projects.
Out of all of these projects, the best trick that I’ve learned this year is to create an email rule to move everything with the word “unsubscribe” in it to Junk (with a rare exception).

The few unsolicited sales emails that still come through get their domains added to our mail filter block list.
No one has time for that crap.
just have look at zammad or otrs as ticket system
What helpdesk do you use?
We are using Incident IQ. It is geared toward the education sector.
Yea I looked at that, too expensive for us.
Where is the post on teams and auto login? That sounds great!
I never wrote it up – I’ll add that one to my “To Post” list as well.
Actually a really good idea, surprised I’ve not through of it before!
Thanks! It is elegant and simple!
how did you manage the migration of redirected folders to OneDrive?
I’ll put a guide up soon on this. Basically, I cleaned up our redirected locations first – used mover.io (a Microsoft tool) to prestage content in OneDrive – set group policy to point to the new location.
…the suspense is killing me 😉
Ironically – after putting this rule in place – I will no longer be seeing your emails….
I might be a bit bias but an exception might be required. 🙂
