Things have been quite busy this last month or so. Two awesome things have happened and I wanted to take a few minutes to share them.
First, I was awarded an MVP award for Cloud and Datacenter Management! Microsoft has done a ton of work to improve the MVP community these last couple of years and I am incredibly honored to still contribute to it.
Second, I started a major new job! I am now the proud dad to this little cmdlet[note]I have always liked the word cmdlet – sounds like a baby command[/note]. Right now, she only has three parameters but I hear their functions expand with age.

Sorry for the bad PowerShell puns…
I hope everyone has had a great summer so far! Feel free to give me your best dad advice or just let me know how your summer is going in the comments below.
Congrats!
Thank you!
Congratulations Joseph! Perhaps you can teach her some valuable functions.
So great! Congratulations!
Thank you!
When the baby sleeps, you sleep. Don’t take it as an opportunity to get things done.
Don’t try to make a happy baby happier, especially when sleeping!
You can’t make everyone happy. – Listen to your baby and trust your gut.
Beware the Baby Industrial Complex – You don’t need all that crap.
Solid advice! We’ve have to learn the whole let a sleeping baby sleep instead of picking her up everytime to cuddle.
Massive Congrats!
Cmdlets are great! Beware though, they can be Buggy and are known to have frequent System Dumps. I trust you have a good Garbage Collection routine running?
I see that you elected for the XX version, they are really great though i’ve heard that when they get to build number 13+ they start to get really demanding and require lots of optional modules to keep the functioning optimally.
This is one of the funniest things that I’ve read in a long time!! Thanks for the laugh!
That is wonderful! Congratulations 🙂
Thank you Debbie! Good to hear from you again as well!
Congrats on BOTH ! Your articles show the great knowledge and willingness to share.
Thank you! I am looking forward to writing up guides some of the new projects that I’ve completed.
Congrats to you! 🙂
Thank you very much!
